In a very real sense, waterjet technology has changed the stone world in more ways than we can detail in this blog post. Turkish Waterjet Stone creations have been a part of the waterjet revolution for quite a while now. Let’s discuss both the art and the science of the topic.
In our view, the most important aspect of the waterjet concept is that it is really two technical advances in one machine. First, is how a material is cut. Second, is the use of a computer to guide the cutting pattern.
In general, a waterjet is a sophisticated industrial machine that uses a highly pressured jet of water, with or without the presence of abrasives, to cut a wide variety of materials. Naturally, stone is one of these materials.
