All the stakeholders of the sector came together in the Amorf Natural Stone Project and Design Competition held by the Aegean Exporters ‘ Associations with the theme of the ‘Oscar Night of the Miners’. In 2020, companies exporting value-added products in the categories of processed natural stone and block natural stone were awarded.

The natural stone industry, which employs more than 300 thousand people, is also of great importance with its contribution to the promotion of our country. Columns and coverings at the entrance of the “Sen Pier” church in the Vatican are Afyon İscehisar marble, the marble used in the White House in the USA where officials make their press statements is Elazig Cherry, the German Parliament, the French Parliament, the US House of Representatives, Disneyland and countless other important places. It was decorated with Turkish marbles,” he said.
